Coco vol. 3 - Lavender





I remember having my first lavender shortbread when I was in high school and immediately falling in love with the wonderful flavor of the flower. It can sometimes be overwhelming, but if used correctly it's magical!

Lavender-Milk Chocolate Cocoa
2 cups milk
1 Tbsp dried Lavender
3.5 oz milk chocolate
1/2 tsp vanilla

In a medium saucepan, heat milk and lavender until simmering. 
Take off heat and cover saucepan in plastic wrap and let sit 10 minutes. 
Strain out lavender and return milk to saucepan. Add chocolate and heat, stirring often, until chocolate is melted. Heat to desired temperature.
